Wind noise can make long drives tiring when you’ve got gear on the roof. The Rhino-Rack Vortex StealthBar keeps things calm with its slim, elliptical crossbars and built-in rubberized Vortex strips that disrupt airflow. These quiet, low-profile bars only raise the rack 1-3/8" above the factory rails, cutting drag and whistling even at highway speeds so your trips stay peaceful inside the cabin.

Big overhanging bars can look out of place. The flush design of this system keeps the crossbars tight to the roofline for a sleek, from-the-factory appearance. Each bar blends seamlessly with its support legs for an ultra-low profile that measures just 35 mm?/ 1" above the rails. The result is a strong rack that doesn’t stick out or spoil your vehicle’s lines.
When you’re hauling serious gear, you want strength without extra weight. These structural-grade anodized aluminum bars have an internal H-shaped extrusion for exceptional stiffness while staying rustproof. The UV-treated, glass-reinforced nylon legs are weather resistant, and rubber-coated stainless steel straps wrap fully around raised rails for maximum contact and security. The complete system supports up to 176 lbs—just be sure to follow your vehicle’s roof load rating.

Whatever gear you’re carrying, these bars are up for it. Each crossbar has a built-in C-channel that fits channel-mount carriers like bike racks, ski holders, or kayak cradles. The three-piece Vortex strips make it easy to slide in mounts without cutting or trimming. You can also attach most clamp-on accessories directly on top—the strips provide no-slip cushioning that helps keep everything steady on rough roads.

You don’t have to worry about leaving your rack or mounted gear unattended. Each leg includes locking covers that secure both the rack and any channel-mounted accessories in place. All locks are keyed alike, so one key handles everything. It’s a simple way to make sure your setup stays right where you left it after every stop along the way.

That roof racks look great on your Outback Wilderness, Kevin! I would love to see a photo of your roof box installed once you get the chance.

Love the look of the vehicle as a whole! The bars certainly blend right in and look factory! So good to know it was a perfect fit for the '25 Outback Wagon, too! What will be going up there on the bars?
